This residential complex works as macrosystem made up of the repetition of in line buildings’ types, arranged along the North-South axis, in line with the agricultural pattern where the various strips of the territory, whether spillway canals, irrigation ditches, windbreak trees, are traced the predominant direction N/S. The building system consists of 9 buildings, each one equipped with a “satellite” building and open living spaces, arranged on two floors and located within a comb design, whose ridge consists of the private tree-lined access road inside the floor.
The design of the "type" building unit is the result of a reinterpretation and decomposition of the rural building type present in the territory, i.e. a system consisting of a stable – covered entranceway (the socalled “dead door”) - barn that is transformed into the main dwelling - accessory dwelling - covered open spaces and external open spaces.
The movement of the pitched roofs of the rural buildings is reinterpreted through the use of a uniform finishing material that identifies and covers all the buildings. Great importance is given to the landscape design, which fits with the proportions and hierarchies of the existing green grids on the territory. Therefore, four trees’ types have been selected to play different roles: the tree-lined avenue, the decorative trees, hedges and shrubs and the symbolic tree present in each lot: the Ginkgo Biloba.
