The soft restyling intervention arose from the need to renew the image of the hotel rooms, updating their aesthetic language with a contemporary, elegant, and sophisticated approach, without compromising the hotel’s historical identity. The goal is to offer guests a coherent, high-quality experience by enhancing the existing architecture and improving the overall perception of the spaces.

The project addressed the inconsistencies that had accumulated over time by defining a shared design language that is flexible and adaptable to the different room typologies. The hotel’s identity was reinterpreted through refined materials, balanced color palettes, and furnishing solutions focused on comfort, functionality, and perceived quality.
The restyling was conceived as a gradual and structured process, with the hotel remaining fully operational throughout. This required careful phased planning aimed at minimizing the impact on guests. Following an in-depth analysis of the existing conditions, a design concept was developed to guide all aesthetic and technical decisions.
The interventions focused on finishes, furniture, textiles, lighting, and accessories, limiting invasive construction work. New elements and bespoke integrations were designed, with durable materials and functional solutions compatible with the existing building systems. All choices were consolidated into a detailed technical specification, ensuring consistency and quality of the final result.
The organization of the construction site, divided into room lots, made it possible to optimize timelines and logistics while taking into account guest flows and hotel occupancy periods. Execution was carried out through fast, coordinated interventions, supported by continuous quality checks.

Despite the technical and logistical complexities related to the existing structure and the hotel’s central location, the project delivered a renewed and contemporary image, enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of the rooms through a targeted, sustainable intervention that respects the hotel’s history and its urban context.
